About Me – Training – Qualified Intolerance Tester
I studied and trained with the College of Holistic Health and Nutrition whom have 15 years’ experience in the training of Nutritional therapist and intolerance testers and qualified a Diploma in Allergy Intolerance Therapy (DIP AIT}. I further proceeded to complete a two-year programme giving me the qualifications to become a Nutrition and Naturopathic advisor.
My desire arose in this area of nutrition because of being in pain with arthritis in the knee and then discovering how to heal myself through diet and other products. Having trained as an occupational therapist I discovered I came across both patient and colleague who were ill and gave advice to my colleagues after office hours, on one occasion one of my colleagues had severe ulcers on her tongue which through my advice quickly cleared up.

What Is A Food intolerance?
Food Intolerance and Food Allergy
Food intolerance symptoms can be unpleasant but they are not life-threatening. The medical name for food intolerance is freely referred to as food hypersensitivity whilst food allergy reaction can cause itchiness, rashes, swelling and it can trigger a life-threatening reaction known as anaphylaxis. Food intolerances are often difficult to diagnose than a food allergy as it is long-lasting, less acute and less noticeable in its presentation.

This test would be carried out after you have eliminated the offending foods prior to re-introduction. I do not think this is necessary as you should slowly re-introduce the foods and see how your body reacts to them. I am happy to charge you for this service but I don’t want you to waste your money. Therefore, I will let you know if there is a need for a retest.
